The Sarasota Succulent Society, established in 1950, is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the celebration of all types of succulent plants. The Society owns and maintains an informal semi-public garden on over one-half acre of land in the City of Sarasota, Florida. The garden features an historic (1930's) clubhouse, stately native Live Oak trees, greenhouses, and many varieties of succulent plants from around the world. The Society is an all-volunteer organization, having no paid staff, and its membership is open to anyone with an interest in succulent plants. The Society holds three annual sales to help support its gardens and scholarship programs. Please visit the Society's website to learn more.
